History DOES Repeat

We, humans, do
the same sh*t over and over.

The path the US is on
right now,
for example?
It has been taken
hundreds of times
at least.

We can predict
what happens next.

Predicting what happens next
WILL benefit
ourselves
and our growing businesses.
Knowing the next steps
allows us to prepare,
to survive,
to prosper.

Learn history.
Because it DOES repeat
and you SHOULD
be prepared.

Don’t be surprised
by predictable events.

The Freedom Of Nothing To Lose

As Fascism
(Trump’s Republicans in the US,
for example,
or PP’s Conservatives in Canada)
strengthens,
the impact on my Romance Novel business
is clear.

It will be closing.

Which means…
I no longer have sales
to lose.

My pen name can write
whatever the f*ck she wants
(without being sued).

She can post
on social media
anything the f*ck she wants
(without being sued).

That is freeing.
It is inspiring.
It is exciting.

You know who else
doesn’t have anything to lose?

Businesses who don’t yet
have customers.

And business builders
just starting out
on their journey.

Be creative.

Dream of outlandish wild things.

You have nothing (yet) to lose.

It Is Okay Not To Know

A buddy asked me
what I thought
about the situation
in Russia.

I told him
I didn’t know enough
to talk about Russia.

He replied
that I was likely
the only person
on the planet
who would admit
to that.

I hope I’m not.
Because MOST of us
don’t know enough
to talk about Russia.
Or other topics.

And acknowledging that,
staying out of the conversation
and simply observing,
creates better discussions
and better decisions.

It also increases the odds
others will listen to us
when we DO know about the topic.

Admit to not knowing.
That is a powerful stance
and it will make the world
a better place.

When The People Around You Hate You

The Dr. Oz video
with him attempting to shop
at a grocery store
is what happens
when the people
around you
hate you.

His goal,
I believe,
was to appear
like an average person.

Instead,
it shows how out of touch
he is
with the average person.

He says he’s shopping
for a crudité,
a term not many average people
use.
He misnames the grocery store.
He misnames vegetables.
He shops without a basket.

It is an embarrassing mess.
Yet the people around him
allowed him
to share it
on social media.

Ensure you have people
around you
who will stop you
from doing f*cked up things
like this.
And ensure
you listen to them.

We ALL need
a support team
who actually supports us.
