Do What You’ve Always Wanted To Do

I had a book (product) release
last month.
It was a book 4 in the series
so there was an established
readership
(customer base).

I told my cover artist
to do something different
It should be something fitting
with the series look
but also something
she’s always wanted to do
on a cover.

The result was edgy, different,
fresh, inspired.
It got readers (customers)
excited about the series again.

Jennifer Baron,
Founder of
A Cook’s Companion,
shares

“I handed six catalogues
to every employee
and I said,
‘Go through the catalogues
and let’s pick all new merchandise.’

‘We’re going to freshen up the store.
We’re going to make
the customers want to come in
and see what’s new.
Pick something
you’ve always wanted to carry.'”

When you have the flexibility,
do something
you’ve always wanted
to do.
