because I don’t have that skill.
I COULD have that skill
…if I spent years
obtaining it.
I merely don’t want to.
This is true
of almost every skill.
We COULD master it
if we exerted the energy,
spent the time.
““I’d like to hire that programmer,
but he doesn’t care enough
to get really good at his craft.”
That’s certainly more true than,
“He’s never going to be good
at programming,
because his DNA
doesn’t match the DNA
of a good coder.””
If you need a skill
to be successful,
obtain it.
It might take time and energy
but you WILL master it.
