When I first moved into
my current house,
I considered planting
an apple tree.
But, when I heard,
it would take
up to 8 years
for a tree
to bear apples,
I decided against it.
I’ve now been in
my house
for well over
8 years.
We could have been
enjoying apples
every summer.
Yes, most significant things
take time.
But we hopefully have
that time.
