When I was buying a book
from Barnes & Noble,
the cashier thanked me
for supporting one of the few
remaining bookstores in the US.
She then shared
that she doesn’t buy books
there.
She borrows them from the library
because the library
has a huge selection
and it is free.
That made me feel
like a dumba$$
for buying my books.
I doubt I’ll ever buy
another book
from that specific store again.
THIS is why
business builders give employees
discounts on products and services.
If your employees
don’t use your product/service,
customers will eventually find out
and they’ll wonder why.
If possible,
ensure your employees
are also customers.
