One of my favorite sayings
is
“No guts,
no glory!”
Many of us
are afraid
to take a chance.
“We’ve constructed a life
where we rarely leap
(new job!)
and most of the time,
we coast or fade
or increment our way forward.”
The issue is…
to be truly great,
we have to take risks.
We have to venture
into the unknown.
We have to experience failure
and continue to push forward.
If you want to be remembered,
if you want to change the world,
you have to take chances.
Minimize the risks
as best you can
but take them.
