Whenever something
doesn’t go as planned,
I have a saying
I often repeat
– “Life is an adventure.”
Adventures are fun.
They can also
be perilous.
They are often partially planned
yet they have
spontaneous component to them.
We usually have a destination
in mind
when we go on an adventure.
But sometimes
we’ll end up somewhere
we didn’t plan to go.
Sometimes this somewhere
is even better
than the place
we expected to be.
Life is an adventure.
