about a mistake
I had made.
I had learned from that mistake
but it clearly was a mistake.
A couple of writers
insisted
it wasn’t a mistake.
One writer
told me
I should never admit
to making a mistake.
What that f*ck?
How can we learn
from other people’s mistakes
if those other people
can’t even admit
they’ve made one?
We’re human.
Mistakes happen.
Stop ignoring mistakes
because you have a need
to be perfect,
to have everyone around you
be perfect also.
Learn from your mistakes.
