The Benefits Of Being Niche

The Romance Novel Industry
is VERY crowded.
There are thousands of writers,
many having
hundreds of books (products),
competing for readers
(customers).

I don’t have the marketing dollars
to compete with everyone.
I DO have the marketing dollars
to compete with a small number of writers,
to focus on specific readers,
to give them a book (product)
that serves their specific needs.

I credit much of my success
to being niche.

Amber Anderson,
Founder of
Tote and Pears,
shares

“In many ways
creating a niche business
can be limiting,
but for us,
those limits have all led
to growth in other ways.

We’re more focused
than we’ve ever been before,
and my team and our customers
are excited about the new direction
—so much so that we’ve already hit
half of our revenue goals
for the year,
and we haven’t even launched yet.”

Being niche
can help a smaller business compete.
Consider it.
