Email Overflow

I’m taking an online course
and there’s a lot of email.
Some of the writers are complaining,
asking that we don’t email as much.

Stopping the flow of ideas
is NOT the way to deal
with information overload.

We want to encourage people
to share useful information,
not discourage them.

And as these writers become successful,
the emails will increase,
not decrease.
Some of these emails
will be from customers
and
asking customers to shut up
is not a business building solution.

If you are overwhelmed by email,
the solution is in YOUR hands,
not in the sender’s.
Filter into folders.
Delegate handling less important email
to others.
Create a solution that works for you.
