from an organization
we paid dues to.
We contacted them privately
via different communication means
and we received no response
to any of our messages.
Nothing.
It was silence.

and we blasted them on social media,
making a fuss
until it was a ‘thing’
in our industry.
They then reached out to us.
We heard from other members
they had to do the same thing.
A couple days ago,
the organization’s board complained
publicly, of course,
that their members
were targeting them.
No sh*t.
Because they had trained
their members
to target them.
That is the only way
to get a response from them.
We show our customers
by our responses
how we want them to act.
If we only take action
or save the best rewards
for customers who publicly shame us,
we’ll be publicly shamed
more often.
