An online book promotion company
pitched that
their services
would increase awareness
of my new release.
They said nothing
about increasing sales,
which meant
their efforts likely wouldn’t
increase sales.
At all.
It is possible to track
almost everything,
including sales,
online.
Online marketing companies
should be skilled at doing that.
If they knew their services
had a healthy shot
at paying for themselves
with increased sales,
they’d share that information.
If that information
isn’t shared,
it means the sales
aren’t there.
You shouldn’t expect
their services
to increase sales
or pay for themselves.
Know this
before you hire them.
What is not said
is often
as powerful
as what IS said.
