was indignant.
Her contact information
hadn’t changed
in decades.
Writing Buddy A
should have it.
Yes, but her contact information
is no longer publicly accessible
and Writing Buddy A had changed phones
and had lost everyone’s contact information.
I’ve kept the same contact information
for decades also.
I tell myself
that is so people from the past
can contact me.
No one has done that.
Because people from my past
have long lost that information.
It doesn’t matter
if your contact information
hasn’t changed.
The person has likely lost
that information.
Don’t wait for people
to reach out to you.
Reach out to them.
