When digital newsletters first started,
it was relatively easy
to find subscribers.
Digital newsletters were new.
People hadn’t subscribed
to many or any others.
Today, it is a battle
for each subscriber.
People receive a gazillion newsletters.
They have to justify
receiving one more – ours.
This is the same way
with Facebook friends
and Twitter followers
and other promotional venues.
The early adopters
gathered friends and followers
relatively easily.
The late comers
struggle for each one.
Don’t compare yourself
to others.
They likely started earlier
and had that advantage.
Focus on your own build.
