Last week, I visited
the Dominican Republic.
A little over 45%
of the total population in
the Dominican Republic
is fully vaccinated.
Every person I spoke to there
proudly and unprompted told me
their vaccination status.
They recited when they received
each shot
and what type of vaccine
they received.
Being vaccinated
in the Dominican Republic
is currently a status symbol.
Being vaccinated
in the U.S.,
in contrast,
invokes controversy
and debate.
Status symbols
are often region specific.
Stances on certain topics
are also region specific.
Remember this
while marketing in different areas,
especially if you reside
outside that area.
