Deliver On Your Promises

In a previous post,
I suggested
arranging
dedicated ‘fun’ times
with loved ones
scheduled after
the busy holiday season
is over.

This is ONLY effective
if we KEEP
our promises
and MAKE those precious appointments.

That ‘meeting’ with loved ones
is unbreakable.
Our building could be on fire
and we should still show up
at that appointment.

Because the moment
we break that promise,
our promises become worthless,
any future arrangements
mean nothing,
and
the trust is gone.

As it should be.

If we make arrangements
with loved ones,
we have to
KEEP those appointments.

We should treat our loved ones
as the priority they are.

One Month To Go

There is one month
left
until Christmas.

Many of us,
myself included,
do most of their sales
in this specific month.

That is exciting
but all the work
associated with those sales
can also be tiring.

Know that
this busy time lasts
for only a short time
and that short time
is almost over.

Know that
you can do this.

Know that
I’m cheering for you,
for all of us.

This is the home stretch.
We’ve got this!

Making Hay While The Sun Shines

My Farming Grandpa
would often say,
“Ya gotta make hay
while the sun shines.”

When the conditions are right
to do something,
do that something.

For many of us,
the time is currently right
to make sales.

People are looking
for gift ideas.
They’re looking to make
their lives easier
during the busy holiday season.
They’re looking
to treat themselves.

Suggest your product/service.
Put it in front of them.
Be where they are.
Market your face off.

Make hay
while the sun shines.

Loved Ones Of Business Builders Should Understand

These next two months
are extremely busy
for many business builders.

For some of us,
Holiday sales
make the difference
between having
a profitable year
and losing money.

I remind all my loved ones
of this fact.

I tell them
they likely won’t see me much
during November and December
and part of January.

I give them ways
to help me
during this time.

If they want to see me,
they know
they’ll be helping
with the business
while they’re doing that.

And I schedule time with them,
fun time,
relaxing time
at the end of January
or early February.

This is our busy time.
Ensure our loved ones
know that.
And ensure they also know
they ARE our loved ones.

Complete Tasks In Advance

Whenever I have a spare
couple of minutes,
I craft another post
for client k
and schedule it
for the future.

I can modify that post
and/or reschedule it
at any time.

I can even delete it
if the situation changes
or I receive new information.

But the post is there
and ready.

Which is good
because we’re moving into
my busiest time
of the year.

And I will need
all the extra moments
I can get
then.

I suspect we’re moving into
a busy time
for you also.

Complete as many tasks
as you can
now.

Your future self
will thank you.

Pause To Enjoy The Busy Season

This time of year,
between US Thanksgiving
and New Years,
is often when retail businesses
and some other businesses
make most of their sales.

If we’re a business builder
involved in these types
of businesses,
we’re likely extremely busy
right now.

And, hopefully, our stores
are busy also.

Try to take a couple minutes
every day
to stand back and revel
in the increased traffic.

Savor the boost in sales.

Enjoy the flood of customers
looking for gifts
and other holiday items.

Note the excitement,
the activity,
the controlled chaos.

It will help
maintain your passion
for your business
during the slower times
of the year.
