Being Reliable Doesn’t Mean Being Perfect

A good buddy of mine
has an awesome reputation
for being reliable.

She isn’t perfect.
She’s far from that.

But she is very aware
of what she can
and can’t do
and she says ‘no’
a LOT.

That means
when she says ‘yes’,
we all know
she’ll deliver
on that ‘yes.’

We can depend on her
and that’s a beautiful thing.

“…tell the truth.
It’s hard at first,
particularly since
our self-conception
might have been built around
independence
and invulnerability.

But being reliable
doesn’t mean
being perfect.
It means being clear.”

Reliability is a selling feature
and it doesn’t require
perfection.
Consider adding that
to your personal and business brand.
