During the Great Pause,
I realized the full value
of having Great Clients.
The Value Clients
stopped buying my books
as soon as
other writers
lowered their prices
(often to non-viable levels).
The Great Clients
knew those other writers
couldn’t give them
what I gave them.
They continued to support
my books
and there were enough of them
to ensure I continued
writing these books.
What is a Great Client?
“Better clients challenge you.
They support you.
They spread the word.
They pay on time.
They pay more
and expect more.”
Value Clients
are easy to find.
We simply lower
our prices.
It takes more time
and more effort
to find Great Clients.
Great Clients often want
appealing packaging,
a differentiated product/service,
wonderful customer service,
promo material
they are proud to share,
a sense of belonging
and other things.
All of these require resources
and creativity.
But they can be worth it.
They certainly were
worth it
for me.
