Embrace It

In my corner
of the world,
masks are mandatory
in all indoor public spaces.

That means
customer-facing people
should be wearing them.

A few companies
have spent precious resources
fighting this
(they’ve lost thus far
– both in the courts
and in public opinion).

Most companies
accepted it.

A special few embraced it.
They designed marketing campaigns
around mask-wearing.
They supplied branded
and/or
fun masks for employees.
They made it
part of the experience.

A plumbing company,
for example,
has terrible plumbing jokes
on their masks.

A restaurant has
fun graphics of their food.

If you have to do something,
think of ways
to do it well,
to make the most of it.

There are opportunities
being presented.
Consider taking them.
