I’m an introvert.
Being told to work from home,
to stop face-to-face contact
with prospects and customers
is a dream come true
for me
(though I wish there were
happier reasons for
these decisions).
For my extroverted loved ones,
it is a nightmare.
They gain energy and joy
from being with others.
Most of the top salespeople
in the world
are extroverts.
And right now,
they’re hurting.
They’re lost and confused
and they need you
more than they likely ever will.
Now is the time
to…
– arrange MORE meetings
not fewer meetings
and do this over video conferencing,
allowing everyone attending
time to talk
– check in with your extroverts,
again by video conferencing
– set up interactive learning sessions
similar to what schools are doing
– call your extroverts more often
– ensure your salesfolks
are still calling customers/prospects,
relaying they are there
to help
– increase interaction with/for
your extroverts.
Don’t decrease it.
Your introverts will likely
appreciate a more hands-off,
less busy schedule
during these challenging times.
Your extroverts, however,
need MORE interaction,
not less.
Call your salespeople
and other extroverts
today.
