Like many business builders,
I’m a ‘fixer’ and a ‘doer.’
When I see a problem,
I like to fix it.
And I feel much better
about…well…everything
when I take action.
There are quite a few
new problems
appearing in the world
right now.
Your coworker with a newborn
is scared to go grocery shopping.
Your neighbor lives alone
and has no one
who will notice
if she needs medical care.
People who normally stock shelves
are now working
the cash registers.
Actors who were appearing
in plays
now have no work.
We can help
temporarily
and maybe permanently.
The help we offer
now
could eventually become
growing businesses.
“In normal times,
it’s easy to get into
a rhythm of simply responding.
Someone else setting the agenda.
When things are uncertain,
it’s easy to react.
But now,
right now,
is the single best time
to initiate.
We’re in for a slog,
but there will be an end to it.
Make things better
by making better things.”
Crisis brings out opportunities
to help
and, maybe in the future,
to profit from.
Consider taking action.
