Taking Care Of Loved Ones And Customers During An Outbreak

My Awesome Mom lives
a 2.5 hour plane ride
away from me.
She’s on a fixed income,
and
she’s older,
more susceptible to illness.

I’m worried about her.

So I sent her a care package
via Amazon
of Purell, disinfectant wipes,
some really luxurious hand soap,
and a few other items.

These are items
she wouldn’t normally buy herself
yet they might help her
if the corona virus hits her city.

I feel a tiny bit better
because I’ve done something.
She’s a bit safer.

Some of my small business buddies
are placing containers of Purell
and boxes of tissue
by their check outs.

One business buddy is ensuring
all her delivery people
wear gloves.

A buddy in the restaurant business
is giving out a cleansing wipe
/a moist towelette
with every take out meal.

These little things
not only make the world a bit safer
but they signal
to your customers,
to your employees
that you care.
They’re important to you
and you’re thinking about them.

What actions are you taking?
