You Have Enough Data

When I pitched to executives,
back in my corporate days,
I knew if they asked
for more data,
I did a sh*tty job
of selling the idea.

Because I had given them
enough data
to make the decision.

Asking for more data
was simply their way
of saying,
“It’s a no
but I’ll give you
another chance
to turn that no
into a yes.”

I suspect
you have enough data
to make the decision
you’re postponing also.

“If it’s worth the work
you put into it
and the change
you seek to make,
it’s worth dancing
with the uncertainty.

Reassurance isn’t going to come
from more data
–that’s a stall.”

Make the decision.
You can always change
your mind
later.
