I have over 100 books
available
under one pen name
at Amazon.
The issue with that
is when that pen name
is recommended to a reader,
the reader might not know
where to start.
She has unlimited choice
and, as we discussed yesterday,
that can lead to
the prospect choosing nothing.
This is where pricing
and free books (products)
can be very effective.
By pricing a book (product)
at free or a lower cost,
I’m signalling to the reader (prospect)
that she should start there.
Then I provide at the back
of that book,
via an excerpt and buy link,
a recommendation of
which book
she should read next.
If you have a large catalog,
consider providing
some clear entry points.
Help your prospects
make their decisions.
