The competition in
one of my niches
in the Romance Novel Business
is heating up.
More competitors are entering.
The number of readers (prospects)
aren’t increasing as quickly.
These competitors
will do anything for a sale.
My latest release
was slammed with terrible reviews.
I’ve built my readership slowly.
I know almost all of my readers.
I didn’t recognize ANY
of those reviewers.
It made me sad for a moment.
But then I got mad.
These folks want me to fail.
I’ll become an even bigger success,
d*mn it.
I’m using the haters
to push me.
I want to prove them wrong.
Some people want you
to fail.
These people could be
people you love,
strangers,
competitors,
even former mentors.
Their reasons are selfish.
Their response is about them,
not you.
But, if you want to succeed,
you need to learn
how to deal with them.
I use the haters to energize me.
How do you use them?
