A writing organization
I belong to
updated its website.
The new website doesn’t have
any additional features
and
it is much more difficult
to utilize
than it was previously.
And that’s a big problem
because…
We expect technology
to improve
and/or
be easier to use.
It certainly shouldn’t
be MORE difficult
to use.
Before upgrading technology,
ask yourself
if the new will be easier
for your customers to use
than the old.
If it won’t be,
there had better be
a sh*tload of value adds
for your customers
or you will lose them.
