This week,
California announced
a quota requirement
for women directors on boards.
Most companies have ZERO women
on their boards,
despite the vast number
of qualified women available
and despite the proof
that having women on boards
increases the profitability of companies.
Either this number was going to
increase naturally
or it would be forced to increase
(as it has been).
That’s simple demographics,
a future any person could predict.
And one savvy entrepreneur
took advantage of that.
Sukhinder Singh Cassidy
founded TheBoardList,
“a curated talent marketplace
that connects
highly qualified women leaders
with opportunities to serve
on private and public company boards.”
Some changes are predictable.
Can you or your company
benefit from them?
