When I get stuck
writing a scene
(developing a product),
I take out
a blank piece of paper
and I write down
everything I know
about the situation.
I also write down
the skill sets and personalities
of everyone involved.
Then I ask myself
how each of those people
would possibly solve
that problem.
One of those answers
or perhaps a combination
of those answers
is the ‘best’ solution.
If I’m the only person involved,
I add other personalities
or fictional people to my ‘team’.
This takes me out
of my own limited thinking
and broadens the possible solutions.
Approach the problem
not only from your own point of view
but also others.
