Traditional publishers
(established businesses)
have been blaming the shift
toward Indie books
(small business created products)
on pricing.
That might be part of it.
I suspect the bigger reason
for the shift in purchases
is Indies are supplying product
Traditional Publishers refuse to.
Like romances featuring
plus-sized heroines
(the average U.S. reader is plus-sized)
or romances featuring
diverse heroines
(the average world-wide reader
is diverse).
I suspect the leaders
in your industry
are refusing to change
in some way also.
That’s a HUGE opportunity.
Look into it
taking advantage of it.
And keep your eyes open
for other opportunities.
