One of the tricks
of writing a great book blurb
(marketing copy)
is to NOT tell people everything.
Leave them with questions.
That way they’ll come to you
or, in this case, the book
for the answers.
A book blurb,
like all marketing copy,
is the beginning
of the conversation,
not the entire conversation.
“The thing is,
you’ll never have enough time
to tell us every single thing
in enough detail.
It would take you years.
Portion control is your friend.
Figure out how big
the plate is
and serve just the right amount.”
Leave them wanting more.
