In my niche,
200 page books
sell the best.
That’s the ideal length
for readers.
I keep track
of industry standards,
of what is working
or not working
for other people/businesses
in my industry.
But I pay closer attention
to what is happening in my niche.
Sometimes it is the same
as what is happening
in the industry.
Sometimes it is
completely different.
If there’s a conflict
between
expectations in your niche
and expectations in your industry,
ALWAYS choose your niche.
