This week,
a couple more mid-sized publishers
folded,
leaving their writers
unpaid
and in a big mess.
Most of those writers
are frantically looking
for new publishers
(i.e. ’employers’ they can sell
their work to).
When I ask these buddies
why they won’t consider self-publishing
(i.e. starting their own businesses),
they tell me
they don’t want to spend the time
learning how to self-publish.
We don’t spend time learning.
That’s the wrong way
to look at it.
We INVEST time learning.
Knowledge is an asset
and it is an asset
no one can take away.
