Before I left corporate
and seriously started
building businesses,
I reduced my annual expenses.
This did several things.
It reduced the minimal income
I needed to earn
while I built my businesses.
(I took contract work
to earn that income.)
The less time I had to spend
earning immediate income,
the more time I could spend
on building the businesses.
It also increased my savings.
Because I reduced my expenses
BEFORE I left my full time job,
I could pocket the savings,
using that money for start up costs
and for shortfalls in income.
In addition, it showed
my friends, family, loved ones
I was serious about building businesses.
I was willing to sacrifice for my ventures.
I’m glad I did this.
It made the early lean years
much more bearable.
Consider reducing your expenses
NOW.
