Whenever my financial adviser
advises me to buy or sell shares,
I ask him
if HE has personally
bought or sold those shares.
If he thinks strongly enough
about the strategy
to put his own money
into it,
I trust it a bit more.
In another example,
an expert’s strategy was recommended
on a writing forum.
I investigated.
This expert is no longer employing
that strategy.
It worked for her in 2016.
It isn’t working for her
in 2019.
ALWAYS investigate
what your expert is doing.
Does she walk the talk?
Does she use the strategy
she is promoting to you?
Is she using it
NOW?
There are quite a few
convincing speakers
in this world.
Believe in action,
not merely talk.
