A writer published action steps
on a thread
dominated by other writers complaining
about the state of the industry.
I loved her post,
wished others would make similar posts
but projected that no one
would even respond to it.
Past experience
has shown me
they like to bellyache about things
but
don’t like to take action.
Then I realize I wasn’t responding.
I replied,
saying how much I liked the post.
The writer posted again,
sharing more great information.
When I was a kid,
my mother would often
repeat
“If it’s meant to be,
it’s up to me.”
That’s still true today.
If you want to see
more of something,
support it.
That support
can be as simple
as a message.
