It never fails.
Someone posts about needing
a cover designer
or editor
or formatter
or some other professional
and someone else responds
with a link to Fiverr
or some other marketplace.
If you hire random ‘professionals’,
you will receive random levels
of professionalism.
And you, yourself,
won’t be viewed as a professional.
I find professionals
by asking people I respect
which professionals
THEY use.
If I see a cover I love,
for example,
I contact the writer
and ask who designed her cover.
Then when I contact the professional,
I use the referrer’s name
(with their permission).
The professional then knows
if she f*cks up,
she not only f*cks up
her relationship with me,
her new client,
but also her relationship
with the referrer,
her long established client.
Be professional
when finding professionals.
That’s how you get
great results.
