she admired me
and knew
I had some success
in that area.

to get a quality response
to an inquiry.
I was extremely flattered
and inspired to put
the necessary work into answering.)
I put quite a bit of thought
into my answer,
spending valuable time,
ensuring I had all of the facts
available.
Her response?
Let’s ask X
for her opinion.
She didn’t get the ‘opinion’
she wanted
so she discarded it.
She’ll ask and ask,
wasting the other people’s time,
until she gets the
‘right’ opinion.
I’ll never help her again.
I don’t have the time
to waste.
