I was talking with a writing buddy
yesterday
about how I give my cover artist
a month’s notice
if that’s possible.
The writing buddy boasted
that she insisted her cover artist
work on her covers
right away.
In other words,
EVERY job she gives this cover artist
is a rush job.
It throws off the cover artist’s schedule.
It doesn’t allow her the time
to put a lot of thought into her work.
Mistakes are likely to happen.
That’s not something to boast about.
That’s being inconsiderate.
Rush jobs should be rare.
Give professionals as much time
as possible
to give YOU their best work.
