Star Wars is
owned by Disney.
Disney is hyper vigilant
about protecting
their copyright
(as they should be).
Companies who use
May The Fourth Be With You
and Star Wars images
without permission
are asking for a lawsuit.
We’re small business folks,
however,
and we’re likely fans.
As long as we don’t use
the images or phrases
to sell a product
(i.e. don’t associate the posts
at all
with our company
or products),
we might be able to post
about our love for the franchise
without legal trouble.
Disney might look the other way.
Be careful though
and you might wish
to seek legal advice.
Don’t mess with Disney
and their copyrights.
