A newer writer (business builder)
asked me
how I find the time
to write (develop product)
and promote my stories
(market my products).
I said I use every snippet of time.
When I’m standing in line
at the grocery store,
I make notes for scenes.
When I’m waiting for soup to boil,
I post in a Facebook group.
There’s always time
to do SOMETHING
that moves our dream projects
forward.
She replied that she couldn’t work
all the time
like that.
I SAID, “That’s okay.”
I THOUGHT, ‘Then you don’t want it enough.’
Because if you want something
enough,
you WILL make time for it.
It is work.
Of course, it is.
But it is work
you’re willing to do.
If you’re not willing
to do it,
consider finding
another business,
one you WILL make sacrifices
to build.
