Mitt Romney didn’t know
he was being taped.
That tape shouldn’t have been posted.
Kate Middleton was sun bathing
on private property.
The photos shouldn’t have been published.
If this was an ideal world,
yes and yes.
Even famous people should have some privacy.
But this isn’t an ideal world.
It is the iPhone world
where everyone is a member of the paparazzi
and every situation,
no matter how minor or how private,
might end up on YouTube.
And this world isn’t changing.
If anything, it will become less private.
So deal with it.
Expect it.
If you want more privacy,
don’t be your company’s spokesperson
and act as though you’re incredibly boring.
Learn how to live in this new world
because it isn’t going away.
