Crafting Your Motive

Mars Dorian has a wonderful new series
(ignore the typos
and concentrate on the message)
about attracting your right audience.

He talks about your message
or as he calls it… motive.
The keys are…
– make it inspirational and positive
(readers don’t see negatives)
– paint a picture
(make it real with description)
– make it short and snappy
(we all suffer from ADD)
– rinse and repeat
(the more you use your motive,
the more like minded individuals you attract)

You KNOW when you’re straying
from your motive.
My motive for my sexier writing is
‘monogamous doesn’t have to be monotonous.’
I write about one hero
in love with one heroine.
I have a brilliant idea for a story line
that doesn’t adhere to this motive.
I’ve started it and stopped it for two weeks.
It feels wrong
because… it is
for me.

Before you even begin to market,
figure out who your company is
and what it believes in.
