of doing business
with their previous vendor.
People matter.
Before laying off or downsizing or automating,
remember that we do business
with people first and foremost.
Don’t give your customers a reason to leave.

Someone needs to remind the telecommunications and utilities firms of this very fact.
We also need to wire up the city council/state government bodies, that grant these monopolies so much power, of their respective duties in policing the high-handedly dismissive behavior of the aforementioned industries. Just a thought.
