Muhammad Ali And The Impossible

Someone thinks
something you’re planning to do
is impossible.
I can guarantee that.
It doesn’t matter
what that something is.

Three decades ago,
I thought making a living
by writing books was impossible.
Today, I’m doing exactly that.

As Muhammad Ali,
one of the most famous boxers
that ever lived,
once stated

“Impossible is just a big word
thrown around by small men
who find it easier to live in the world
they’ve been given
than to explore the power
they have to change it.

Impossible is not a fact.
It’s an opinion.

Impossible is not a declaration.
It’s a dare.

Impossible is potential.
Impossible is temporary.
Impossible is nothing.”

When someone tells you
something is impossible,
it tells you more about that someone
than it does about the task
you’re attempting to complete.

As Rodgers And Hammerstein
once wrote,
impossible things are happening
every day.

Do the impossible.
