I believe in
getting the most out of every post
so when I post on my writing blogs,
I also link to these posts
on social media.
At first,
I would simply give the title
and the link
for the blog posts
on other social media
(Facebook, Twitter, etc).
I didn’t get much engagement
on either the social media
or the blog posts themselves.
Now,
I give the title of the blog post
and the link
but I also post a snippet
from the post,
something to start conversation.
This prompts MUCH more engagement.
When linking to blog posts,
consider giving your readers
a taste of what the blog post covers.
