I was watching the latest commercial
for Crest 3D White.
There was an ‘expert’ vouching
for the toothpaste.
She stated
“As a professional photographer, I know…”
At the bottom of the screen
flashed the information
that the woman is an actress
and not a professional photographer.
Why? Why? Why?
Could Crest not find a single photographer
wanting a bit of advertising
who would state that a white smile is important?
Why did the actress have to claim
to be a professional photographer?
At all?
There are lies meant to sell product
or to deliberately confuse viewers
but this,
this is a lie of laziness.
It is damn embarrassing.
Someone at Crest
needs to have their ass kicked.
