Got me thinking. When I am working on a web site I will create a customized 'coming soon' page with the client's logo and vital information without being asked, because I feel it's helpful. It usually takes me no longer than 15 minutes to create, and the client can start referencing their web site right away. Your blog is one I always read through, even when I have less time and must skim or skip others. Thanks for sharing advice and experiences that make me think and help me improve. Good idea. You don't want the discussion to be about price (that is a no win). I see that you are an awesome graphic designer, Janet. Once you have secured a client, is there a little something that you can do for them right away to give them that WOW early on? It could be as simple as giving that brand new business a handful of generic business cards so they can get started (I know that I needed "bridge" cards while my designer was working). Something so they can see results right away. I prefer to give
