Knowing Where To Fish

On one of my blogs,
I’m spicing up content by
posting more interviews with experts.

At first I was finding these experts
with simple Google searches.
Took time and
I didn’t have a very good response rate.

Then I realized that I was searching in the wrong place.

I went to an article directory.
Here were a list of experts writing content for free,
all in hopes of publicity.
Suddenly my response rate increased
to pretty close to 100%.

Are you also searching for customers
in the wrong place?
Are you buying ad space for online ventures offline?
Are you trying to sell romance novels to poetry readers?

  1. That is such a practical idea! It is so obvious that it is hidden. Thanks for revealing it to me or showing me that I was seeing some of my answers to similar problems.
I found you through a paper I bought from Ramit. The “Kick Ass” white paper. It was worth the $5 price to read this post on your blog. Do you have other things you have written you are selling?
I like the content of your blog and its presentation. The Stanza-like look and the uncluttered way you present you information. This post would fall into a “how-to” category and was so well written. Thanks for your consistent effort.

  2. This is a great post. Article and ezine directory are a great place to find experts. I also find ghost writers there too. What is your favorite directory? I get alot of traffic from ezinearticles.com.
